Неплохой киношный ремейк, примерно на три с плюсом или четыре с минусом из пяти, не знаю, что все хают, и такие низкие оценки. Понравилось больше ремейка "Книги джунглей". Джин забавный, хоть и Уилл Смит, но в мультике он, кажется, больше перевоплощался, но не уверен. Яго не наделен разумом, но это ладно.
Не понравилось, что опять так пошло и толсто под нос суют фемопропаганду: ни с чего вдруг Жасмин на несколько минут начинает кривляться и петь песню "Я СМЕЛАЯ!!!" За всю жизнь я не помню, чтобы мне так открыто и безвкусно преподносили какие-либо идеи, как в последние годы межрассовость и феминизм. Мне это не нравится исключительно из-за безвкусицы и отсутствия чувства меры в художественных фильмах. Ужас.

The narrator is explicitly the genie.
Much of the first act is compressed (we don't see Jasmine leave the palace for example).
Iago seems like he can only mimic like a real parrot, as they seem slightly off from a natural response.
Jafar had been a thief and wants revenge on a country that threw him into prison.
The Sultan is keen on marrying off Jasmine is because Jafar tricks him to invade that country,it’s for a military alliance. Jafar might have killed the Sultan's wife as part of this manipulation.
Jasmine feels she should be given the title of Sultan so her father won't have to worry but patriarchy and all that.
Jafar never disguises himself to Aladdin.
Here you have to rub the lamp while making the wish, so Aladdin has Abu rub the lamp while he makes the wish. The genie still granted a wish when getting them out of the cave, it's just that he granted it for Abu.
The reason nobody recognises Aladdin is because the wish warps perception but it will weaken.
Jafar only wishes to be a sorceror when Jasmine convinces the guard they can just ignore the sultan title.
Jafar just tries to marry Jasmine by force instead of making a wish.
Jafar does not transform into a snake but he does turn Iago giant.
The way Jafar is tricked is slightly different. Throughout the movie he's being triggered by people pointing out he's only second at something. Aladdin tells him this in regards to the genie and he gets super triggered. Then he doesn't actually wish to be a genie, rather the most powerful being in existance, then the genie exploits the vagueness of that wish and turns him into a genie.
The sultan decides "fuck patriarchy" and makes Jasmine the new sultan (which is kind of pointless considering the circumstances that pressurred him into finding a successor were fabricated).
