Родился 7 марта 1967 года в Тоухаши, Айчи (Япония). Композитор, музыкант, являлся членом "Konami Kukeiha Club" (музыкальная команда студии). Его известнейшей работой считается создание основной музыкальной темы для Metal Gear Solid. Позднее переработанной другим композитором, в последствии ставшей музыкальной иконой для всей серии MGS.

Прикрутил опрос по вокальным композициям, прошу всех заинтересовавшихся проголосовать, но прежде прослушать. Мой выбор пал на великолепную Snake Eater, которую я считаю лучшей в серии. Вот блин, сколько раз не запускал MGS3, а всегда слушал эту композицию в интро. Помимо этого прям за душу берет припев из Calling to the Night, которую впервые услышал в MGS4 и всегда там в айподе её ставлю. За них и отдам голос.

Для меня ничего лучше "The Best is Yet to Come" нету в принципе, каждый раз как слушаю пробирает до мурашек, а уж когда услышал её в MGS4 по прибытию на базу Shadow Moses чуть не разревелся...
Но голоса отдал ещё аналогично за "Shake Eater" и "Calling to the Night" - тоже очень душевные песни, без вопросов...

Точно те же чувства испытывал, когда играл в MGS4. Ну настолько воспоминания о том времени сильны, о тех пережитых чувствах играя ещё в 1ю часть игры. А тут прям Total Recall! 1 момент, когда Снейк встречается с подразделение Рэтс и там их командиром является Мерил Сильвербах (задушевная беседа о прошлом и будущем-просто достойный диалог, задевающий душу истинных поклонников); 2 момент –это конечно же возвращение на базу Shadow Moses… БРАВО! Сюжет супер. Со слезами радости на глазах за ШЕДЕВР, затронувший чувства! Кто играл – то знает и поймёт…

По мне, если бы еще не вставки в виде воспоминаний на вертолетной площадке Shadow Moses - было бы нечто не то.
Я сначала от музыки испытал такую невообразимую радость, а тут подхожу к центру площадки и бац:
-A Hind D? Colonel, what's a Russian gunship doing here?
Я просто заплакал.
Потом у лифта, я как девочка на концерте Бибера у телевизора скакал.
UPD. А момент с камерой?
Когда Снейк сказал: A surveillance camera?
Я сразу как закончил играть поставил эмулятор и начал перепроходить первый MGS.

Совершенно случайно наткнулся сейчас на The Best is Yet to Come. Каждое прослушивание просто не передается эмоциям. Срочно надо перепройти первую часть. :'(

"The Best is Yet to Come" - вне конкуренции. А уж когда я тут недавно на ютубе наткнулся на финальные титры из первой части под эту мелодию, то вообще чуть не всплакнул. Эх. Шедевральная песня, обидно, что отстает пока по голосам.

Way to fall для меня, пройдя мгс3 в первый раз, находясь в дико загонном настроении и глядя на титры - я вдруг осознал, как же хорошо она подходит моему настроению в данный момент.

В песнях, которые исполняет Akihiro Honda есть какие-то проблемы с постановкой.
Они отличные, но когда доходит до такого жуткого накала и кажется, что уже вот сейчас будет просто отрыв головы - бам-с, и окончание.
Однако, все равно - саундтрек это то, ради чего серия может жить вечно. Еще ни разу не было плохих мелодий в игре.
